More Swim Time

Over at grandmas house playing in the pool.

Who's having more fun?

It was a good day to cool off. I think it reached 106 degrees.

Getting a little bit tired of all this splashing.

John taking a little rest before resuming the horseplay.

Grandma Time

Grandma E. reading John a book before his nap.

John loves his time with Grandma. He gets to learn so much.

Just wanted to see if anyone knows what kind of a bird this is. They have built a nest in moms pear tree and are very territorial. They dive-bomb the cats and have recently gotten brave enough to actually grab their fur.
Anyhow, I think it looks like a Grackle, but they are usually dark birds.

Fourth of July at Grandmas

These goldfish are so good! Here, try one!

Bruce and John are fine tuning their sharing skills.

Fourth of July Fun

We had a great Fourth of July. We went to Canyon West Golf Course and watched the fireworks from there. They seemed to fall down directly above us! It was amazing!

We met James Woley and his family there for the show.

Here is James' oldest son, Anthony, proposing to his girlfriend that night.

John sitting in a sand trap waiting for the show to start.

John and Nathan watching the fireworks together. The loud booms didn't even bother John (surprisingly). Maybe he was too tired to care!

LET THE SHOW BEGIN!!

ooohhhhh!

aaahhhh!

Beautiful!
ooohhhh!
oooooo!!
aaahhhh!

It was a lot of fun had by all. We finally got John home and to bed at 11:00pm.

That will be the last of your late nights young man!!

Our Little Man

Here are some cute John pictures in no particualr order ~~ just thought you all would like them.

Grant and John having an obviously important, perhaps philosphical, conversation.
This is back in March right after Johns 1st birthday.

Our little angel fast asleep with all of his stuffed animals.

Here's John after about thirty minutes of Daddy "watching" him outside while I got a few things done inside!

John is quite the little helper around the house. As you can tell he loves to "help" empty the dishwasher.

He's growing up so fast! It seems just yesterday I was spoon feeding him myself. Now he throws a fit anytime we try to "assist" him. The mess is less if we help, but obviously the fun for him is too!
